Foundation Advances Healthy Food Access in Southeastern Ohio

In March, the Osteopathic Heritage Foundation of Nelsonville (OHFN) and Susan G. Komen® Columbus announced funding awards through the 2017-2018 Southeastern Ohio Breast Health Initiative. “The Osteopathic Heritage Foundation of Nelsonville is proud to partner with Komen Columbus to ensure vulnerable women in southeast Ohio have improved access to screening, increasing the rate of early detection and reducing late-stage breast cancer diagnoses,” said Susan Beaudry, director of programs, Osteopathic Heritage Foundations. Terri Donlin Huesman Promoted to Executive Vice President

Ms. Terri Donlin Huesman has been promoted to Executive Vice President of the Osteopathic Heritage Foundations, previously serving as the Foundations’ Vice President of Programs. Ms. Donlin Huesman has been with the Foundations for nearly 20 years and has served in a number of positions, primarily in the areas of development and grantmaking. OhioHealth Nelsonville Health Center Opens with Dedicated Heritage Community Room

An open house introducing area residents to the OhioHealth Nelsonville Health Center was held in October.  The new, 20,000 square-foot center provides urgent care and a broad range of outpatient health services to the community, including access to the Heritage Community Room – named in recognition of the Osteopathic Heritage Foundations’ support to create the Heritage Endowment for Community Health Education.
