Foundation Executive Announces Retirement

The executive leadership of the Osteopathic Heritage Foundations will transition at the end of the year as Richard (Rick) Vincent, 69, retires from his long time position as President and CEO of the Foundations and affiliate organizations.

OHFN Approves Support for the Adam-Amanda Mental Health Rehabilitation Center

In June, the Osteopathic Heritage Foundation of Nelsonville (OHFN) approved a $100,000 funding award for support to individuals with severe and persistent mental health diagnoses, transitioning from inpatient psychiatric hospitalization back into the community. Foundation funding will support capital renovations for the Adam-Amanda Mental Health Rehabilitation Center in Athens, Ohio.  Read more >

LSS CHOICES for Victims of Domestic Violence Groundbreaking Ceremony

In August, Lutheran Social Services (LSS) Choices for Victims of Domestic Violence, the only domestic violence shelter serving Franklin County, recognized a major milestone when community leaders gathered to break ground at the new shelter location. In March, the Osteopathic Heritage Foundation of Nelsonville (OHFN) and Susan G. Komen® Columbus announced funding awards through the 2017-2018 Southeastern Ohio Breast Health Initiative. “The Osteopathic Heritage Foundation of Nelsonville is proud to partner with Komen Columbus to ensure vulnerable women in southeast Ohio have improved access to screening, increasing the rate of early detection and reducing late-stage breast cancer diagnoses,” said Susan Beaudry, director of programs, Osteopathic Heritage Foundations. Terri Donlin Huesman Promoted to Executive Vice President

Ms. Terri Donlin Huesman has been promoted to Executive Vice President of the Osteopathic Heritage Foundations, previously serving as the Foundations’ Vice President of Programs. Ms. Donlin Huesman has been with the Foundations for nearly 20 years and has served in a number of positions, primarily in the areas of development and grantmaking.
