Early in the COVID-19 pandemic, the Osteopathic Heritage Foundation and the Osteopathic Heritage Foundation of Nelsonville (the Foundations) developed a funding strategy in response to the expressed needs of our nonprofit partners. Through a three-phased approach – COVID-19 Response, Recovery and Rebuilding – the Foundations allocated nearly $7 million to support more than 100 nonprofit organizations in central and southeastern Ohio. Funding supported behavioral health services, food access, early childhood education, domestic violence programs and collaborative funding partnerships.
