The Osteopathic Heritage Foundation recently hosted the Endowed Researcher Convening in Dublin, Ohio, promoting team science, collaboration and healthcare innovation.

Since 2000, the Foundation has established ten research and professional development endowments at seven colleges of osteopathic medicine across the U.S. Currently, the endowments support 16 researchers conducting biomedical and translational research leading to advances in patient care, while fostering the education and professional development of the next generation of osteopathic physician researchers and medical educators. In academic year 2022-2023, combined endowment values totaled $35.6 million.

The convening provided a forum for endowed researchers to share current areas of focus, recognize the collective impact of their work and contemplate the future of biomedical and translational research conducted at colleges of osteopathic medicine.
