The Board of Directors of the Osteopathic Heritage Foundation and Osteopathic Heritage Foundation of Nelsonville (the Foundations) are a dedicated group of individuals, knowledgeable and passionate about the Foundations’ mission, history, funding priorities and approach to grantmaking. Over the past two decades, the Boards have collectively approved over $250 million in funding awards, advancing our mission to improve health and quality of life in the community through education, research and service consistent with our osteopathic heritage. To further position the Foundations for enduring impact, three new Directors were recently elected to the Osteopathic Heritage Foundation Board of Directors and the Osteopathic Heritage Foundation of Nelsonville welcomed a new Board Chair.
Osteopathic Heritage Foundation Welcomes Paige S. Gutheil, DO, Terri Donlin Huesman and Mark R. Seckinger to the Board of Directors

Each bring a unique set of skills and experiences, adding value as the Foundation continues to advance the principles and practices of osteopathic medicine and address pressing health issues in the community,” said Robert A. Osteopathic Heritage Foundation of Nelsonville Names Steve Cox Foundation Chair

Following a planned leadership succession, Mr. Steve Cox succeeds Mr. Rick Oremus as the Chair of the Osteopathic Heritage Foundation of Nelsonville. For nearly five decades, Mr. Oremus has been associated with the Foundations, osteopathic medicine and central and southeastern Ohio communities.
“We are grateful for Rick’s leadership and service to the Foundations, his unwavering commitment to improving the lives of vulnerable populations and his enduring friendship,” said Terri Donlin Huesman, President/CEO. “Rick has prepared us for this leadership succession, and we will strive to reflect his many admirable traits – including humility, integrity, accountability and transparency – in our work moving forward.”
Assuming the role of Board Chair, Mr. Steve Cox, President/CEO of Nelsonville Home & Savings Bank, has served as a Director of the Osteopathic Heritage Foundation of Nelsonville since 2004. A graduate of Hocking College and the Stonier School of Banking at the University of Pennsylvania, Mr. Cox provides leadership for numerous civic organizations, including Southern Ohio Copperheads, Athens County Public Library, Baird Brothers Company Foundation, First United Methodist Church of Nelsonville Leadership Council, OhioHealth O’Bleness Governance Council and Nelsonville Income Tax Review Board. He also serves on the Osteopathic Heritage Foundation Board of Directors.
