Funding Interests
The Osteopathic Heritage Foundations advance a mission to improve the health and quality of life in the community through education, research and service consistent with our osteopathic heritage. The Foundations’ funding interests are focused on osteopathic medical education and research, statewide and nationally, as well as community-based priorities in central and southeastern Ohio aligned with the principles and practices of osteopathic medicine.
Our Current Priorities
As the needs and opportunities in the communities we serve change over time, the priorities of the Foundations also evolve while remaining rooted in our mission to improve health and quality of life. The issues we seek to address are complex. As such, the Foundations engage in strategic partnerships with human service agencies, other funders, community leaders and professional organizations to encourage collaboration, propel innovation, leverage resources and create meaningful impact on pressing health and social issues.
