Funding Opportunities

Periodically, the Foundations issue funding opportunities to advance priorities and initiatives. Funding investments are considered through an invitation to submit process, request for proposals or funding collaboration, in which resources are distributed in partnership with another funder. The Foundations do not accept unsolicited proposals. Current opportunities are listed below.

RCIF Partnership Spring 2024 Grant Cycle 

Applications are now closed for the Osteopathic Heritage Foundation of Nelsonville and the Rocky Community Improvement Fund (RCIF) Spring 2024 grant cycle supporting programs focused on healthy food access, educational opportunities for youth, behavioral health services, and programming for older adults. 25 Years of Service and Impact, Request for Proposals for Southeastern Ohio

To commemorate 25 years of grantmaking, the Osteopathic Heritage Foundations are addressing critical health and human service needs in the community through its 25 Years of Service and Impact initiative, including a Request for Proposals (RFP) to support organizations in southeastern Ohio. Through the 25 Years of Service and Impact Request for Proposals for southeastern Ohio, funding awards of up to $70,000 will be made over a two-year period to selected nonprofit, community-based health and social services organizations serving vulnerable populations in Athens, Hocking, Meigs and/or Vinton counties. The Foundations are in the process of reviewing submitted proposals.

25 Years of Service and Impact, Request for Proposals for Franklin County

To commemorate 25 years of grantmaking, the Osteopathic Heritage Foundations launched a 25 Years of Service and Impact initiative, beginning with a Request for Proposals (RFP) to support organizations in Franklin County addressing critical health and human service needs in the community. Through the RFP, the Foundations will support projects and initiatives aligned with two of its current funding priorities, healthy food access and behavioral health and substance use disorders, as well as additional strategies to improve health outcomes by addressing other social determinants of health. The Foundations are in the process of reviewing submitted proposals.
