The Osteopathic Heritage Foundation and Osteopathic Heritage Foundation of Nelsonville Boards of Directors are a dedicated group of individuals, knowledgeable and passionate about the Foundations’ mission, history, funding priorities and approach to grantmaking.

To effectively manage the Foundations’ business and operations, a committed team provides professional services on behalf of both foundations. Working collaboratively with management are retained external subject matter experts in the areas of finance, investment and communications. This nimble and effective operational approach assures a principled allocation of available resources, primarily oriented to grantmaking investments in the community and mission-related activities.

Mark R. Seckinger

Mark R. Seckinger is the President of OhioHealth O’Bleness Hospital. Over the past three decades, Mr. Seckinger has held various hospital administration leadership positions in central and southeastern Ohio, including his first hospital administrator position at Doctors Hospital of Nelsonville in the early 1980s. Mr. Seckinger earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Technology from Ohio University. He serves on the Athens County Economic Development Council and the Osteopathic Heritage Foundation of Nelsonville Board of Directors.

President/CEO

Terri Donlin Huesman

Terri serves as the president & CEO for the Foundations. In this capacity, Terri provides the vision, direction, inspiration and motivation necessary to ensure the Foundations’ continued success in strategic grantmaking, investments and operations. During her tenure of more than 20 years with the Foundations, she has led the development of strategic initiatives and funding priorities to build capacity at the national, state and regional levels to proactively advance osteopathic medical care, research and community priorities through partnerships, collaborations and leveraged resources. She serves on multiple regional and national boards and councils, including OhioHealth O’Bleness Hospital Governance Council, Ohio University Heritage College of Osteopathic Medicine Advisory Board and National Association of Osteopathic Foundations.

Terri earned an undergraduate degree from Bowling Green State University and a master’s degree in business administration from Franklin University.
