Members of PEAK Grantmaking recently gathered in Columbus to exchange ideas and information on best practices related to the grantmaking profession. The event was sponsored by the Osteopathic Heritage Foundations and was held at The Columbus Foundation.

PEAK GrantmakingPEAK Grantmaking is a member-led, national association of more than 4,000 professionals specializing in grants management. Regional and national convenings are held to share knowledge and foster collaboration to strengthen grantmaking practices.

During the meeting, the regional chapter formerly known as “PEAK Ohio” voted to adopt the name “PEAK Mideast” to recognize interest from colleagues in West Virginia, Kentucky and Pennsylvania in joining the chapter and expanding impact.

“It is important for funders to collaborate on effective grantmaking processes that support our grant partners, from proposal development to sites visits and outcome reporting,” said Erin Prescott, program administrator of the Osteopathic Heritage Foundations and steering committee member of PEAK Mideast.
