The Osteopathic Heritage Foundation of Nelsonville (the Foundation) and the Rocky Community Improvement Fund (RCIF) are pleased to announce their 2024 spring grant cycle funding partnership.

The Foundation and RCIF invite applications from agencies serving Athens and surrounding counties, with an emphasis on organizations serving Nelsonville, Ohio. Through its 2024 grants, RCIF and OHFN are supporting programs focused on healthy food access, educational opportunities for youth, behavioral health services, and programming for older adults. Since 2013, the Foundation and RCIF have partnered to award more than $700,000 to support programs serving vulnerable populations in southeastern Ohio through semi-annual funding cycles. Previous grants awarded through this partnership are listed on the RCIF website.

Rocky Community Improvement Fund

The mission of the Rocky Community Improvement Fund (RCIF) is to provide impactful support to our local communities by awarding grants to build a clean, safe and healthy community for our neighbors. RCIF is a donor advised fund operated through the Athens County Foundation.
