The American Osteopathic Association (AOA) has appointed Terri Donlin Huesman, President/CEO, to the Bureau of Osteopathic Education and the Bureau of Osteopathic Clinical Education and Research. The AOA advances the philosophy and practice of osteopathic medicine by connecting the professional family of more than 137,000 osteopathic physicians and medical students across the country.
AOA acts as the primary certifying body for Doctors of Osteopathic Medicine (DOs) and the accrediting agency for all osteopathic medical schools. While promoting public health and encouraging scientific research, the AOA also advocates at the state and federal levels on issues that affect DOs, osteopathic medical students and patients.
