Voices of Osteopathic Medical Education
The Osteopathic Heritage Foundation’s (the Foundation) award of $105 million to the Ohio University Heritage College of Osteopathic Medicine (Heritage College) has provided a state-of-the-art educational facility for osteopathic medical training on the Dublin campus to ensure that highly skilled osteopathic physicians will impact the community and profession for years to come. Learn more about what has been accomplished on the Dublin campus through this award here.
The Voices of Osteopathic Medical Education Project seeks to bring the words of Heritage College Dublin campus medical students into the Foundation’s office, which was relocated to the Dublin campus in June 2021. The Foundation seeks to create a welcoming reminder for Foundation staff and visitors of the purpose, passion and promise represented by the students who will improve the health and well-being of individuals, families and communities. At the same time, this project seeks to engage students and promote the mission of the Foundation with future osteopathic physicians studying on the Dublin campus.
The Foundation will recognize all students who submit a quote or statement – students selected for their quote to be included in the installation will receive a $50 gift card from a Dublin-area restaurant and all other participants will receive a $5 gift card to Tim Hortons. Foundation staff will review all submissions and select finalists. The Foundation reserves the right to edit all quotes for length and clarity. Students will be given the opportunity to review and approve any edits before use.
